Helping animals and their humans, everywhere.

Giving all animals love, care & compassion.

Animal Chaplaincy
Services

As an Animal Chaplain, I support all sentient beings, regardless of their species. I offer my services to animal rescue organizations and individuals needing support, helping them with losses they suffer as well as celebrating new adoptions.

Helping Animals Around the World

Through volunteering, donating, and raising awareness, I help as many animals and animal organizations as I can. Find out more about some of these wonderful causes here: Donation Directory.

How this all came to be…

Hi, I’m Jodie, and for as far back as I can remember, I have always had a great love of all animals – big and small!

As an ordained Animal Chaplain, I offer services to help all animals and those who care about them. From creating personalized memorial services to welcoming new animal family members, I work with individuals and animal organizations to support the human-animal connection. Find out more here.

In 2021, I created this website for the Fosters & Ferals Challenge, an idea I had to make a donation to a different animal organization every single day of the year. My goal was to help as many animal charities & organizations as possible by donating and raising awareness.

It was an incredible challenge and I got to meet many wonderful people whose goal, like mine, is to help animals. To find out more about these 365 wonderful causes, check out my Donation Directory.

Animal organizations close to my heart:

Located in Hampton Bays, New York, The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the rehabilitation of wild animals impacted by encroachment of humans on their habitat. Their mission is to preserve and protect our region’s native wildlife by providing rehabilitation services and education to raise public awareness of the factors that threaten its abundance and diversity. I am honored to be both a transportation volunteer and a hospital volunteer for this incredible organization.

Located in Good Hope, Georgia, Farm of the Free Animal Sanctuary's mission is to create a space where every being feels safe to be exactly who they are. Farm of the Free rescues and cares for farm animals while spreading awareness about living a peaceful, vegan lifestyle. I feel honored to have joined their wonderful board of directors in 2023 and am enjoying working with them doing what I can to help them share their beautiful and important mission with the world.

Located across several areas in India, Wildlife SOS was established in 1995 by a small group inspired to make lasting change to protect and conserve India’s natural heritage, forest, and wildlife wealth. They are a true example of how much difference a few inspired people can make in this world. I was fortunate enough to visit Wildlife SOS on a founder’s trip in early 2023 and see firsthand the incredible things they do for wildlife. I cannot wait to return to India and spend some time volunteering with the elephants and sloth bears.

Helping animals and the people who care about them

The Animal Communication Collective™

At the Animal Communication Collective™, we are passionate about helping animals and their people.

Our mission is to help animal rescues, shelters, and welfare organizations raise funds and visibility while expanding awareness of animal communication.

The Animal Communication Collective™ is a volunteer organization created by an incredible group of women who met as friends, colleagues, and certified professional animal communicators. We recognized the challenges many shelters, rescues, and other non-profit animal welfare organizations faced during the pandemic and created these fun, informative online fundraising events.
